Genspin told me what he was chasing when he submitted: the great days of vocal techno. That's a specific target, and specific targets are where AI-assisted production either proves itself or falls apart, because the reference exists and your track gets measured against it. "Incentive" takes the measurement and passes.

WHAT I HEARD

Start with the low end, because the low end is the headline: amazing low frequencies in this master, with a driving beat underneath that works as the heartbeat of the track, the thing that keeps a crowd moving. The structure around it is just as strong, and in this genre structure is everything. The song knows how to pulse its energy. It goes big when it needs to, then opens up space for breathers, and the vocals on top sound really natural, which is exactly the target he named. It also pulls off a hard double: the track has a freshness to it while carrying some real throwback energy.

I spend my working days mastering AI-generated music, so a track that arrives already sounding finished gets my attention fast. This is one of the best-finished tracks in the entire October pool.
